CONDITIONS of BOOKING

Wavecrest’s intent is that the preservation of our unique natural ecosystem, and the comfort of our guests, will take precedence over the wishes of any individual. As a result, our offer of accommodation is subject to the following conditions:

It is expected that our guests should share our love for our fauna, flora and pristine surrounds. Nothing in their behaviour should suggest otherwise.

Please do not litter. Cigarette packets and stompies are also litter. We apply Government regulations with regard to restrictions on smoking in public places, including our bar, lounge and dining room.

No vehicles or motorcycles will be permitted on the beaches, dunes or within the resort boundaries, outside of the access road and parking.

Motorised vessels are to go dead slow through the channels and to exercise restraint at all other times. Skiing and tow-behind toys are permitted at sea but not in the estuary.

Sea launches are permitted by sea-worthy vessels, piloted by holders of skippers' tickets only. Each launch should be reported to the office together with details of the trip and estimated return times. An operational mobile phone must be included in the safety equipment.

Consumption of one’s own alcohol is not only illegal, but also unfair to any licensed establishment, as room costing pre-supposes a reasonable support for our bar. A corkage fee, at the discretion of management will be imposed and charged to the room of offenders.

Wavecrest abides by current legislation prohibiting smoking in any public area, including the bar, lounge or dining room.

Whereas every effort will be made to ensure your comfort and safety, no responsibility can be taken for injury or death arising from your accommodation at Wavecrest Hotel, your activities there, or your passage on Wavecrest vehicles, boats, aircraft, horses or equipment. The extent of any claim entertained will be restricted to that covered by our normal public liability insurance.

Rates quoted are inclusive of all meals and per person, sharing. These are available on request, and published on our web site.

Peak Season bookings are not confirmed until receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the calculated value. The full balance is payable on arrival. No refunds will be entertained for departures prior to the dates booked.
